A live bed board with every bed coloured by status, and how full the hospital is shown at the top.

A live bed board that shows every bed in the hospital on one screen. Each bed is coloured by its status. Set up your wards, bed classes and beds once. Admissions and transfers then update the board as they happen.
Ward staff and nurses in charge, who need to see the ward at a glance. The front desk, who need a free bed now. Managers, who want to know how full the hospital is.
The only way to know which bed is free is to phone each ward and ask.
An empty bed sits uncleaned because nobody noticed the patient left.
The ward whiteboard was right this morning. It is not right now.
Nobody can say how full the hospital is without counting by hand.
Beds are grouped by ward and coloured by status: available, occupied, reserved, cleaning or blocked.
See how many beds are in each status, and the percentage of beds occupied, without counting.
An occupied bed shows the patient name, MRN, sex and department. A reserved bed shows until when. A blocked bed shows why.
Set a cleaning time for each site (45 minutes to start). A bed that goes past it shows "Cleaning overdue".
Filter the board by ward, status or bed class. If you run more than one site, pick the site first.
Set up ICU, HDU, NICU, maternity, isolation, private wing and other wards. Rank your bed classes. Tag beds with oxygen, suction, ventilator, monitor or isolation.
Every module works on the same patients, admissions and beds. Nothing is typed twice. See the related modules:
